KRUZ Radio had it's beginning back in the late 80's when Bob & Sue McKerron were members of the Brampton Street Rod car club. Bob had a small sound system that he brought out to their very first car show. It was a hit! The music and emcee sevices were really appreciated.
When the Brampton Street Rods got involved with the Brampton "Kingspoint Cruise" Bob managed to get a local music supply company to sponsor the event by providing the music system. Bob continued doing the Emcee job and all went really well. OK, so one thing led to another and Bob & Sue started up a DJ company and things progressed from there.
Bob & Sue provided the sound system and Emcee duties for car shows and cruise nights for over 19 years. They started working out of the trunk of their 63 Imapala SS, moved to a Ram Van, the Tune Truck and more recently the Tune trailer. Sue passed away in 2007 and Bob has continued on as Sue would have wanted him to do.
In 2007 Bob joined the team at Cruise Nationals as the Associate Events Supervisor. In this roll Bob has and will continue to promote the car hobby in and around Southern Ontario. Bob attends all of the Cruise Nationals sponsored Cruise Nights and provides the sound and emcee services for all Cruise Nationals events.

Bob is a car guy. He has been in the hobby most of his life. Bob joined his first car club in 1962 "The Swanks" of Calgary Alberta. He held membership in the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC), The Late Great Chevy Car Club, Good Guys, The Right Coast, Classic Iron and was a founding member and first president of The Brampton Street Rods.
