Cruise Nationals is a feature of the Canadian International AutoShow The driving force in creating the Cruise Nationals was to celebrate the wonderful and popular phenomenon of weekly car cruises. Across North America these events are hosted by volunteer classic vehicle enthusiasts. Not surprisingly, Southern Ontario is one of North America's most concentrated regions in the collection and enjoyment of classic cars and the "Cruise" culture.
Cruise Nationals Program
10 Cruises are associated with the Cruise Nationals program. Each of these cruises runs a competition to select their 5 best cars. These 5 cars, Cruise Nationals semi finalists, are then obliged to compete at the Cruise Nationals Season Finale.
These 60 semi finalist vehicles cruise to the manicured lawns of Band Shell Park during the Canadian National Exhibition. At this "Cruise Nationals Season Finale" a selection process will occur to choose the 10 Cruise Nationals Finalists who compete for the title of Cruise Nationals Grand Champion at the Canadian International AutoShow.
The Cruise Nationals Awards Ceremony took place on the Classic Concourse, 800 level of the South MTCC at 1:00pm Thursday, February 11, 2010.
