Last year's Classic Concourse was second to none. The Top Ten Cruise Nationals cars were some of the best ever. Hey the stories behind the cars were an added feature this year.
How about Archie Duiker and his 68 Roadrunner - He owned it when he was 18, sold it, and bought it back again years later. He says it's not for sale and he's going to be burried in it!
Oh, and Ralph Porco, what a perfectionist. He had his 72 Challenger painted Curious Yellow at one shop didn't like the paint job so he took it to another shop and had it redone.
Larry Shakleton's 36 Ford Coupe was built way back in 1981 for none other than "Dizzy Dean"

Here are some Corvette Pics from the Classic Concourse
This show was really fantastic. The Old Car floor was called the Classic Concourse and was divided in 3 areas, The Cruise Nationals Finalists, The Artistry of the Hot Rod in Flames, and the Lamborghini Theatre. The Top Ten Cruise Nationals finalists have pictures in the Cruise Nationals section of the web site. Here are some picts of some of the flamed cars on display
Hey sometimes you're out at a cruise and you see a car and say "What's That". Well here's a few pictures and clarification of some of those somewhat obscure cruisers. Now before you say anything more....remember what is obscure to some is not to others!
